The company has three drugs in the Phase 1 stage of development: SPI-014, used in the treatment of hyperphosphotemia in end stage renal disease (ESRD), SPI-1620, an adjunct to chemotherapy, which has just completed Phase 1, and MTRN-2696 for the treatment of solid tumors. Other drugs in development include Ortataxel, for the treatment of taxane-refractory tumors, and SPI-205 used in the treatment of neuropathy.
