In 2002, Spectrum and JBCPL formed NeoJB LLC, an 80/20 percent joint venture, for the purpose of bringing high quality generic drugs into the U.S. JBCPL will benefit from Spectrum’s skills in managing regulatory and marketing functions in the U.S.
JBCPL operates 11 manufacturing facilities which produce high quality generic drugs, bulk pharmaceuticals, intermediates, specialty pharmaceuticals and over the counter (OTC) products. JBCPL’s products are marketed and well accepted in over 50 countries. Their bulk manufacturing facilities have been inspected and approved by a number of regulatory agencies, including the U.S. FDA and the European Commission.
JBCPL has been an innovative and profitable participant in the pharmaceutical industry for more than 25 years, and has maintained its competitive manufacturing position by investing heavily in technology and automation in its plants.
With sales of its products throughout Asia, Europe, Africa and South America, JBCPL is well positioned to be a competitive source of generic drugs in the United States.
